The 500 Pediatric Stretcher/Crib.....Function As Appealing As Its FormFor the care of your young patients, you can count on the superior quality of the Pedigo 500 Stretcher/Crib. The 500 Stretcher/Crib, and its full-function capabilities, represents the standard of excellence in hospital cribs. And its aesthetically pleasing design makes it perfect for any facility. As a pediatric transport stretcher, the 500 rolls easily on over-sized five-inch casters. Two of the casters lock to keep the stretcher where you want it. Optional IV poles let you hang bottles or bags inside or outside the stretcher area. The unique rounded corners reduce the overall size of the 500, yet provide the same amount of useful area on the 26½" x 55¾" mattress. An optional utility shelf on the base holds a blanket and the child's personal items. Fixed Security Top With the optional translucent security top in position, the 500 becomes a full function pediatric crib. The molded top has an exclusive quick disconnect for fast, easy removal. A True One-Handed Crib |
| For complete containment of the child, simply raise the counter balanced side rails. They won't drop suddenly and hurt
the child or nurse. To release the side rail, lift and squeeze the protective, dual-action release handle on the panel in the rails. It's childproof and easy to do even with a child in one arm. Side rails have two-inch spacing and a special epoxy finish that is warmer to the touch than chrome. Total Accessibility The exclusive two-post support system provides 97% access to the patient by the medical team. Other cribs with four corner posts have less accessibility. Optional Departmental Color Coding Identify your 500s with the departmental color of your choice on each end. RED, BLUE or GREEN Full Function Fowler, Trendelenburg, and Reverse Trendelenburg All are operated quickly by lifting the handles at the ends of the mattress pan. They're lowered by releasing locking pins on either side of crib. Fowler locks in three positions. Trendelenburg and Reverse Trendelenburg provide four positions. | ![]() |
